Here Come The Suns

Disadvantaged, minority youth living in East Winter Garden learned about the ancient Aztec sun stone and the powerful sun god depicted in its center. Unearthed in Mexico City, the Aztec sun stone is perhaps the most famous work of Mexican sculpture. The youth also looked at other traditional Mexican sun art for inspiration, then used crayons and paint to create their own bright, sunny art.
